The upcoming Blue Box Season 2 revealed a main visual and trailer, along with the opening and ending theme songs on Wednesday. Singer aiko is performing “Anata no Hana no Iro” for the opening theme song, while the band elsewhere kikou sings “blue in” for the ending theme song. The sequel is slated to premiere on October 4, 2026.
Studio Electric Circus is animating the second season, replacing Telecom Animation Film. Daisuke Sato is the new director, taking over from Yuichiro Yano. The returning staff includes Yuko Kakihara as the one handling the series composition, Miho Tanino as character designer, and features music by Takashi Omama.
I can talk about seiyuus for days and a connoisseur of cute girls doing cute things. Fluffy romance and girls coming of age stories always make me smile. I mostly watch slice-of-life and rom-coms with drama on the side. A firm believer of the girls' band era.
