PRIVACY POLICY — NEPSE Hub Last updated: July 7, 2026 NEPSE Hub is a free finance companion app for the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. NEPSE Hub was designed to need as little of your data as possible — there are no NEPSE Hub accounts and no sign-up. 1. OVERVIEW NEPSE Hub does not require you to create an account or send any personal information to us. Your portfolio, watchlist, alerts, settings and MeroShare credentials are stored only on your device. Data leaves the app only for advertising (Google AdMob), anonymous analytics (Google Firebase), and the market/IPO requests the app makes directly to public data sources and to MeroShare on your behalf. 2. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE (NOT SENT TO US) - MeroShare account credentials you add (client ID, username, password, PIN, CRN). These are encrypted with your phone's hardware keystore (Android Keystore) and are used only to log in to MeroShare and apply to IPOs when you ask the app to. They are never transmitted to us or to any third party other than MeroShare itself. - Your portfolio holdings, watchlist, price alerts, theme and date-format preferences. All of this is removed when you uninstall the app. 3. DATA THE APP FETCHES The app talks directly from your device to publicly available market data sources (NEPSE and related public endpoints) and, when you use MeroShare features, to CDSC's MeroShare service. These requests carry your IP address, as any internet request does. We do not operate a backend server and cannot see this traffic. 4. INFORMATION COLLECTED BY OUR SERVICE PROVIDERS - Advertising: Google AdMob may collect advertising identifiers (e.g. Google Advertising ID), device information (model, OS version, language, coarse region), IP address and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads. In the European Economic Area and the UK, a consent prompt (Google UMP) is shown and you can change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy options. - Analytics: Google Analytics for Firebase collects aggregate, non-identifying usage (screens viewed, features used, crashes) so we can improve the app. This may include a device-generated app-instance ID and general device information. It does not identify you personally. 5. YOUR CHOICES - You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in Android Settings → Google → Ads. - You can remove any MeroShare account from the app at any time (Settings → MeroShare accounts), which deletes its stored credentials. - Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. 6. PERMISSIONS - Internet: fetch market data, news, IPO information and show ads. - Notifications: optional IPO open/close reminders and price alerts (local notifications only). - Photos/media (optional): only used if you choose a profile avatar image. 7. CHILDREN NEPSE Hub is a finance app intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. 8. SECURITY Credentials are encrypted at rest using the Android Keystore. Network calls to MeroShare and market data sources use HTTPS/TLS. 9. DISCLAIMER NEPSE Hub is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NEPSE, CDSC or MeroShare. Market data and signals are provided for information only and are not investment advice. 10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY We may update this policy as the app evolves.
