Terms of Use

Mugen Stream is a catalogue and player. It indexes video that is hosted by third parties and plays it from where it is hosted. We do not host, upload or store the video files themselves. Titles, artwork and episode lists come from those third parties and can change or disappear without notice, so we cannot promise that any particular title or episode will be available, or stay available.

The service is not directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, if higher) to create an account. If you are under the age of majority, use the service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, particularly for any purchase.

You can browse and watch free episodes without an account. Signing in is optional and, in Mugen Shorts, uses Google Sign-In. An account lets your list, watch progress and comments follow you between devices. You are responsible for activity on your account; tell us if you believe someone else has used it.

Some episodes are free. Others need either an active VIP membership or a temporary ad unlock, which you earn by choosing to watch a rewarded advertisement and which expires after the period shown in the app.

VIP is sold as a subscription through Google Play. Google takes the payment; we never see your card details. We only receive confirmation of the purchase so that we can switch the membership on for your account. Unless you cancel, a subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the price shown in Google Play.

You can cancel at any time in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; membership continues until the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. If a purchase does not show up in the app, use Profile → Restore purchases.

VIP removes the wait on locked episodes. It is not a promise about the catalogue: because the video is hosted by third parties, a title can become unavailable while your membership is active.

When you post a comment, or otherwise use the service, do not:

• harass, threaten or abuse other people, or post hate speech;
• post sexual content involving minors, or anything unlawful where you live;
• post spam, advertising, or links intended to mislead;
• post other people's private information, or impersonate someone;
• scrape the service, overload it, probe it for weaknesses, or try to get past the locks on paid episodes.

You keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to store it and show it to other users for as long as it stays on the service. You can block another user from a comment's menu, and we may remove comments or restrict accounts that break these rules.

Where the app offers a download, it is for your own personal, offline viewing inside the app on that device. Downloads stay on your device, are removed when you delete them or uninstall the app, and may stop playing if the title is later withdrawn. Do not copy, redistribute or publicly show them.

The titles, artwork and video shown in the service belong to their respective owners. If you believe something indexed here infringes your copyright, follow the process in our DMCA & Copyright Policy and we will act on a valid notice. The Mugen Stream name, logo and app software are ours; you may not copy or resell them.

The free parts of the service are paid for by advertising, served in our apps by Google AdMob. Advertisers are responsible for their own ads and the sites they lead to. How advertising uses data, and the choices you have, are set out in the Privacy Policy.

You can stop using the service at any time, and you can permanently delete your account and everything attached to it — see Delete your account. Deleting an account does not cancel a Google Play subscription; cancel that in Google Play first.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used to harm other users or the service, or where the law requires it.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any given title, episode, subtitle or quality option will be available.

To the extent the law allows, Mugen Stream is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for VIP in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement.

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant we will say so in the app or on this site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
